Spiraling in spiraling out Too much to take, I let out a shout Nothing is the same and it’s in the air That uneasy feeling with a touch of despair
Keep it at bay I tell myself, don’t let it sink in
Redirect, rewire and repeat positive thoughts within
Take the day off or the week if you must
Away from the dingy before its starts to rust
You have walked this path before and you will sail through it once more
Even though the tide is high and the waters rough
This time the mind is unruly and I’ve had enough
Start that course, finish that book
Learn the subject with a nice meal to cook
Whatever it is, know that you cannot quit Take a detour sure but Just Keep at it.
